Earlier today, FOX revealed its slate for the upcoming year. We got the premiere date for X-Files (click here for details on that) and we also got the Fall time slot for the much anticipated Minority Report. The show will air Mondays at 9pm after Gotham. That’s a great pairing.
The new television show takes place 10 years after the end of Precrime in D.C. One of the three Precogs, Dash, struggles to lead a “normal” human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future, when he meets a detective, Lara Vega, who is haunted by her past who just might help him find a purpose to his gift
FOX stated: Based on Steven Spielberg’s international blockbuster film and the first of his films to be adapted for television, MINORITY REPORT follows the partnership between a man (Stark Sands, “Inside Llewyn Davis”) haunted by the future and a cop (Meagan Good, “Think Like A Man” franchise, “Californication”) haunted by her past, as they race to stop the worst crimes before they happen.
