laura regan minority report

The upcoming FOX pilot for a television series sequel based on the film, Minority Report (which is based on the book, The Minority Report by Philip K. Dick) has cast Laura Regan (Mad Men, Constantine).

The television series takes place “10 years after the end of Precrime in D.C. One of the three Precogs, Dash, struggles to lead a “normal” human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future, when he meets a detective, Lara Vega, who is haunted by her past who just might help him find a purpose to his gift.”

Laura Regan will play Agatha, one of the precogs. (Agatha was famously and wonderfully played by Samantha Morton in the film). “Agatha is the deeply compassionate foster sister of identical twins Dash and Arthur. Like her brothers, she possesses the ability to see intoagathamovie the future, but with more clarity than they can.”

The only recast from the movie is Daniel London who played Wally the Precog Caretaker in the film. He will be reprising that role. Wally was super quirky and creepily cared for and loved the Precogs. For the television series, Wally is eager to help Vega and is assisting Dash in establishing a new identity.
