Variety reports today that Forest Whitaker (The Last King Of Scotland, The Butler, Taken 3) is in negotiations to join the Star Wars spinoff, Rogue One.
Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to comment.
Whitaker will join cast members Felicity Jones (The Theory Of Everything, Girls), Diego Luna (Cesar Chavez, Y Tu Mama Tambien, The Book OF Life), Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler, Four Lions) and bad-ass Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline, The Dark Knight Rises).
Rogue One is set to come out December 16th, 2016.
