‘Tis the season to stock up on all the spooky sh*t you can find. Why should the spookiness end when the clock strikes midnight on November 1? Sure, we’re knee-deep in the holiday season now, but year-round horror lovers need gifts, too.
You might have a Flanaverse fan on your holiday shopping list. Perhaps this lover of all things Mike Flanagan boasts an affinity for his Netflix series. That’s where this short and sweet gift guide comes in. You’ll find items from each of Flanagan’s five shows that’ll surely send a shiver up your Flana-fan’s spine.
The Haunting of Morning Coffee

If your Flanaverse fan adores The Haunting of Bly Manor, this gorgeously illustrated mug is the perfect gift for them. It boasts illustrations of iconic aspects (and moments) from the hauntingly romantic limited series. As you can see in the photo, “The Lovers,” aka Dani and Jamie, are shown standing nose-to-nose on the side. The moonflower also gets a prime mug spot, as does the manor. Additionally, there are separate colorful sketches of Dani and Jamie as “The Nanny” and “The Gardener,” respectively.

Venture here to purchase this mug, and expect your Flana-fan to enjoy plenty of morning cups of joe with it.
Flanaverse in Print

What better way for your loved one to display their love for Mike Flanagan than to own these lush Gothic minimalist prints? This collection has four pieces representing The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and The Fall of the House of Usher. Each one boasts cast names. Even the color palette is deliciously dark.
Purchase the collection here (there are various sizes to choose from) and watch your Flana-fan turn their Flana-house into a Flana-home. (Okay, I’ll stop now.)
The Red Room

You probably won’t smell the Bent-Neck Lady or William Hill (and that’s a good thing), but you’ll certainly get a noseful of bergamot, ivy & moss and cedarwood upon lighting this Haunting of Hill House-themed candle. The aptly named “The Red Room” candle features a quote from Nell Crain: “I loved you completely. And you loved me the same. That’s all. The rest is confetti.”

“It’s time.”

If the fan on your holiday shopping list is like me and obsessed with The Fall of the House of Usher, look no further than this simple black t-shirt from Redbubble. It showcases the cast of the series with a giant Verna smiling above them, her eyes glowing red. The art emits serious vintage horror movie vibes. Talk about the perfect encapsulation of a masterful piece of Gothic horror.
Mosey on over here to purchase this shirt for your Flana-fan (or me).
Be Not Afraid

Strange things are afoot on Crockett Island. Give your Flanaverse fan a gift inspired by the newspaper in Father Paul’s modest home with this Midnight Mass print. Look at all the news — local resident disappears (RIP, Joe Collie)! Father Paul performs miracles at the Easter Vigil! Hey, why does Monsignor John Pruitt look identical to Father Paul? That seems like a mystery worth solving…
Find this print here and pray your loved one doesn’t meet any cave-dwelling “Angels.”
“To those who came before us…”

“I’m not defective — you are.” Listen, I’m on The Midnight Club defense team. While it’s not my favorite Flanagan series, I’d easily rewatch it along with the others. The horror is more so in real-life elements, such as the kids, you know, actually dying from terminal illnesses. The Midnight Club is a beautiful meditation on grief, death and losing your life before it begins — but I digress.

Sinister Things on Crockett Island

The Flanagan Comics Group presents … Midnight Mass (on Crockett Island). I love this white t-shirt with an illustration of Father Paul and his Angel, stylized as a comic book cover. It looks spooky as hell. I’d read this if it were a comic (pretty please, Mike Flanagan). Pick this baddie up here for the immortal priest or Bev Keane (if the spirit moves you) in your life.
