Penny Dreadful’s first Season 2 trailer was nothing short of magnificent. Showtime’s new trailer for Penny Dreadful Season 3 does the trick as well, although Madame Kali/Evelyn is missed. The imagery is stunning, the tone is dark and mysterious and lurking in the music, characters and dialogue is dread. So much dread.
When the last season of Penny Dreadful concluded, our favorite characters were all moving in different directions across the globe. This trailer shows that they are still all connected…..by evil and ‘when evil spreads, dread comes for all of us.’
Penny Dreadful stars Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Billie Piper, Rory Kinnear, Harry Treadaway, Reeve Carney and Eva Green. Season 3 premieres May 1st on Showtime.
