Warner Bros released their first look at Ocean’s 8 and wow is it filled with badass women! While the placement of the women should be more mixed up (maybe not put the women of color in the back), it’s a great look at all of them together. They’re all dressed to kill as they embark on the heist of a lifetime.
In addition to the image, they released a synopsis of the film.
In summer 2018, the tide will turn as (left to right) Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala,” a statement explains. “Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew: Lou (Cate Blanchett); Nine Ball (Rihanna); Amita (Mindy Kaling); Constance (Awkwafina); Rose (Helena Bonham Carter); Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway); and Tammy (Sarah Paulson).
Slated as a thriller/comedy, the film will be set in the Ocean’s franchise, while not being quite a direct sequel. It’s currently unknown if Bullock’s character is related to George Clooney‘s Danny Ocean from the original trilogy. What do you think of the image below? Let us know what you think!
