In this very special edition of Carpool Karaoke, The First Lady, Mrs. Obama, joins James Corden covering everyone from Stevie Wonder to Beyonce and like everything else she does, it’s perfect!
The sweetest/saddest thing about this segment is that Mrs. Obama explains that this is one of the only times, in seven and a half years, she’s been able to ride in the passenger seat and jam out to her favorite tunes. It’s pretty obvious that they’re not leaving The Whitehouse grounds, and are simply driving around and around, but nevertheless it’s something!
After her tenure as First Lady, I really think she needs her own show. A show about tall, powerful ladies, written by a tall, powerful lady (me).
