It looks as if maybe, just maybe, the Guardians of the Galaxy are starting their own 80’s style punk band.

But it just looks that way. What it is, actually, is our first poster for Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol.2, their follow-up film to the 2014 box office smash.

Director James Gunn posted it to his Facebook page this morning simply saying, “Behold, the first ever look at the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teaser poster! #GotG #GotGVol2”

Where the first movie’s tag line was simply, “You’re Welcome,” this one is even more simple — “Obviously.” As in, obviously you’ll go see this movie and obviously the sequel had to be made.

The poster is a black and white photo that features all of the Guardians, both old and new, leaning against a brick wall like punk rock legends of old. The poster immediately calls to mind the Ramones album, Rocket to Russia, though it’s not an exact duplicate of it. But it’s pretty damn close.

And just who are the Guardians you see in this new poster?

From left to right, Nebula (Karen Gillan), Yondu Udonta (Michael Rooker), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), and Drax (Dave Bautista). And, did you see them? Down at the bottom and blending in perfectly? Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel) are both in there too, with Rocket leaning against Gamora completely disinterested in everything and Groot is standing behind Drax, hiding behind his leg.

There’s no word on when we can expect to see the rest of the cast, which includes Pom Klementieff as Mantis and Elizabeth Debecki as Ayesha, who’s reportedly the big bad of the film. We also don’t see Kurt Russell in this picture, though he is playing Peter Quill’s father, the Cosmic Elder known as Ego. Who is also a planet. An actual living planet.

A trailer is expected to hit soon as Doctor Strange lands into some international markets this week. Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, hits theatres May 5th of next year.
