Yesterday Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XV hit the gold status milestone, to celebrate they released the amazing trailer, Omen. On the heels of that Omen trailer, we finally get an idea of how the Season Pass will work.
The main focus of the Season Pass is three original episodes that take place during the events of the game. Here’s the fun part, each of the three episodes will be told from the perspective of one of Noctis’ boy band mates. Each new adventure will offer unique play stylers specific to each character. Within the episodes, you will be able to explore new areas filled with new foes and weapons that will be usable in the main game. Episode Gladiolus will be first, followed by Episode Ignis and Episode Prompto.
The Episodes are not the only goodies included in the Season Pass, we will also get Comrades, an expansion pack for the main game. This will introduce an online co-op mode for up to four players, with each person taking control of Noctis, Gladio, Prompto, or Ignis
The Season Pass DLC will be priced at $24.99 or you can purchase each episode or co-op mode individually. This may not be all there is to it, more content could be announced at a later date. No word on how much individual purchases will cost.
Final Fantasy XV will be available on November 29, 2016 for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
