This year marks the 20th anniversary of The Fifth Element! Yes, it’s been that long, you can feel old now. To celebrate, the film will be coming back to theaters for 2 days this spring. In beautiful 4k resolution, we’ll be able to relive the wacky and fun world director Luc Besson created.
On Sunday May 14th and Wednesday May 17th, Fathom Events will be playing the film across the United States. Times are limited, even more so with the Wednesday night showing. In addition to getting to see the great film in theaters again, the showing will include a bonus. Luc Besson’s latest space opera, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, will be released in July but fans will get an exclusive preview. It’s a brilliant marketing move, to be honest, and a fun bonus for fans.
