The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Felicity Jones has been cast as the female lead in the Star Wars stand-alone spin off to be released December 16th, 2016.
Several actresses had been rumored to be testing for this project including Rooney Mara and my favorite, Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black.
Ms. Jones is on a hot streak right now and has been nominated for several awards including The Academy Awards for her role as Jane Hawking in The Theory Of Everything.
There’s a tight lid on this movie and all we know right now is that Gareth Edward is directing and Chris Weitz is replacing Gary Whitta who wrote the first draft.
Squeal! Who is she? What is this movie about? I’m dying to know!!!
