These FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD Photos Tease a New Dark Witch

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is coming this fall and we can’t wait. And thanks to Pottermore.com, we have our first look at the film. Not only do we have some new costumes, we also have a new character to talk about. Plus, we see that Newt will be doing some globe trotting with our favorite pastry making No-Maj. Hooray for happy returns and getting the gang back together!

We see Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler) briskly walking the streets of Paris! Oh Jacob must be in heaven looking at all those French pastries. It’s also fun to know that Newt won’t be alone when travelling to Paris. We also see that Newt and Porpentina “Tina” Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) get back together, both sporting new looks. Though Newt’s jacket looks pretty much the same, only grey versus his blue. I wonder where they are in front of those vault looking things. Maybe the two of them reunited because Newt finished his famous book!

And of course we get to see our young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) along with an unknown character. He appears to be in an office, possibly in Hogwarts. But what is the giant scope behind him and what is it for? Can’t wait to learn the answer to that. We also have Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) standing with a brand new character who appears to be a follower of his. Her name is Vinda Rosier, played by actress Poppy Corby-Tuech and she looks stunning! We don’t know much about Ms. Rosier but the name is familiar to diehard Harry Potter fans. Evan Rosier was a Death Eater for Voldemort – so darkness runs in that family.

I’m really enjoying all these photos. We have such a small glimpse but nothing too revealing. One thing that’s sorely missing is Queenie Goldstein! Can’t wait to see her reunite with Jacob and get that love train rolling again. We also don’t see anything regarding the circus. So curious to see what that’s going to look like. Not only that, but we don’t have any magical beasts so far. Here’s hoping they’re not pushed too far to the wayside with all this chaos with Grindelwald. We’ll have to wait and see.

Check out the photos below and let us know what you think! Be sure to come back to Geek Girl Authority for more Fantastic Beasts news. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will soar to theaters November 16th.
