Today we got some big news from the Wizarding world. We learned the title of the upcoming Fantastic Beasts film. And it gives us a hint at a worrisome trend in the films to come. We may not have Newt Scamander at the forefront any longer with a title focusing on different, more dangerous character.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald gives us a peak at to the main storyline. Which has nothing to do with Fantastic Beasts or Newt. What could Newt be dragged into that gets us to focus on Grindelwald? I have some ideas but we’ll have to wait to truly find the answers. But we did not just get a title announcement!

We also got a full cast photo! All of our favorite faces are back in addition to some new ones. Briefly, Tina and Goldie are sporting some new looks, looking more sleek and I love it. Even Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller) is returning! However, the new ones need to be spoken of. Quickly noted is that Grindelwald is wielding the Elder Wand, a feat we saw him accomplish in the original Harry Potter series. We also have a younger Dumbledore in the form of Jude Law. In just one photo we can see that Law has embodied what Michael Gambon and Richard Harris did before him. His look, his stance. Everything about his says Albus and I’m looking forward to it.

We also have Leta Lestrange (Zoë Kravitz) holding Thesus Scamander’s hand! What is Newt’s old girlfriend and his brother doing together? Well it appears their engaged. So what does that mean? Has he joined Grindelwald? And just who is that girl with Creedence? Oh my goodness I have so many questions. So many questions that sadly cannot be answered yet. Check out the full image below and let us know what you think!
