Please Stand By: FALLOUT TV Series in Development by Amazon

A Fallout original series is coming to Prime Video, and sooner than we thought! Read on to find out what we know so far.

Fallout adaptation has been in the works since Amazon licensed the rights in 2020. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy‘s Kilter Films signed onto the project right away. The two will serve as executive producers alongside Bethesda Game Studios’ director Todd Howard and James Altman for Bethesda Softworks.

Since the original production announcements, there hasn’t been much information on the project. Actors attached include Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Ella Purnell and Xelia Mendes-Jones, but updates are few and far between.

However, Prime Video posted a Fallout teaser earlier today on X. The post features the Vault Boy mascot next to the phrase “Los Angeles: Where Dreams Come True.”  The post marks Vault 33 in Los Angeles as its location, along with “Fallout, an original series, coming to Prime Video in 2024.”

The Fallout video game franchise spans six games dating back to 1997 but has never been adapted for screen. The games take place in a post-apocalyptic, retro-futuristic United States devastated by nuclear war. Fallout‘s unique aesthetic juxtaposes a post-apocalyptic wasteland with 1940s style and decor.

Now that we know Fallout is coming in 2024, what are you most looking forward to? Let us know below, then keep an eye out for more information here.
