Season 8 is complete. The Christmas Special is right around the corner, and yet I still hear arguments on whether or not Peter Capaldi is cutting it as the new Doctor Who.
Again, I’ve made it clear and I’ve shouted it from the rooftops that I was not a fan of Matt Smith’s. I loved David Tennant but then, when it was revealed that Mr. Smith was taking over I was frustrated that it was going to be someone even younger. I understand that they wanted a hip, young Doctor Who, but wasn’t that Tennant?
I am from the era of Tom Baker. He was my favorite and honestly Peter Capaldi for me is in my top 3, maybe even my top 2 favorite Doctors. I love my Doctor grumpy, broken, sarcastic, pasty white, annoyed….Ok that’s what I find attractive personally, so season 8 was like watching The Playboy channel every Saturday night.

I could go back and forth on whether it was writing, or if it was Clara, or whatever…I understand that change is hard, but let it go. Get on board with Capaldi and suck it up. Yea, I’m yelling at you!
