The rumors were true! A new Wonder Woman trailer will come out tomorow! What better way to get us hyped then show a 15 second teaser. Now, I’m not a fan of teasers for the trailer but…I can’t help myself with this one. It’s very cool. Shared on the official film social media accounts, we get a quick glimpse at Diana’s beginnings.
Diana is training as an Amazon, something she was not allowed to do up till the events of the movie. Voiceover of Queen Hippolyta tells us that Diana must train to become the best of them. Her aunt, General Antiope (Robin Wright) is teaching her to never let her guard down. Diana had lost her footing but Antiope continues to swing at her. Just as Diana’s about to fail, she crossed her wrists to block Antiope’s sword and a seismic energy wave expels from her gauntlets. This shocks Diana, learning that she has more power to her than she knows.

Seeing a little more of Themyscira is great. Robin Wright is giving one hell of a performance in that tiny clip alone. I can’t wait to see her in the film. It’s also going to be fun to see Diana’s origins before she turns into Wonder Woman. I’m also hoping we get to see even more of Themyscira. While I understand her home isn’t as important as her journey, it will be nice to see paradise. Gal Gadot debuted a new poster today (A gift from the Gods!) of Wonder Woman seemingly in Themyscira, so we’ll see.
