During Summer Game Fest today, hosted by Geoff Keighley, Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive debuted the very first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Evil Dead: The Game. One look at this trailer and you can’t help to be drawn into the mayhem! Plus, we get the man himself, Bruce Campbell, to narrate all the fun features!

Evil Dead: The Game brings together Ash Williams (voiced by Campbell), Cheryl Williams (voiced by Ellen Sandweiss), Arthur (voiced by Marcus Gilbert), Scotty (voiced by Richard DeManicor), Pablo Simon Bolivar (voiced by Ray Santiago) and Kelly Maxwell (voiced by Dana DeLorenzo). We are even getting Evil Ash! Friends will band together to take on the evil Kandarian Demon to protect the world from evil. Or if they are feeling rather cheeky – they can be evil itself.
Players will need to work together to take out enemies with chainsaw hands or broomsticks, collect key artifacts and close the breaches between worlds. Did I mention chainsaw hands? But, seriously, what could be better? Well, if you are feeling cheeky, I’d say playing the Kandarian Demon does! Chose the side of evil and you will hunt down Ash and his friends. You can possess Deadites, the environment and even survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls.
Evil Dead: The Game is inspired by the iconic horror-comedy series franchise Evil Dead and high on my list of must-play games! So grab your brown pants and get ready to dive into this horrifying world. Will you fight for the good fight or embrace the evil? It is set to release sometime in 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and the Nintendo Switch.
Check out the trailer below and let us know if you are ready to entire into the mayhem!
