Michelle Yeoh in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

It’s time to dive into the multiverse. No, not the one with the guy in the spidey suit. A different multiverse from directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert and A24. The interdimensional action film Everything Everywhere All at Once has a brand new trailer showing off Michelle Yeoh‘s role in the film and introducing us to our first look at how they will show off the million of universes she will find herself shifting through.

The Daniels have shared that Everything Everywhere All at Once is a comedic love letter to sci-fi action adventures following an exhausted Chinese-American woman, Evelyn Wang, played by Yeoh. The trailer opens with Evelyn trying to sort through what looks like thousands of receipts while trying to get her taxes done. We have to agree; we would zone out too. But things drastically shift when Evelyn is pulled through the multiverse. We learn that her husband (Jonathan Ke Quan), from another dimension, needs her help to stop this great evil that is spreading through the multiverse.

Evelyn can access the other Evelyn’s memories and abilities, making for some exciting fight scenes within the trailer. I’m a simple person really, you introduce well-choreographed fight scenes, singing raccoons and googly eyes and I’m in. Everything Everywhere All at Once‘s trailer balances the more serious side of defending the multiverse with humor and heart-warming moments that are sure to pull at our heartstrings. Alongside Yeoh and Quan, the film stars Stephanie Hsu, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., James Hong, Jamie Lee Curtis, Andy Le and Brian Le.

Everything Everywhere All at Once is set to kick off the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 11, 2022. We’ve dropped the trailer below for your enjoyment. What do you think of this ride through the multiverse? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
