Lucifer is finally returning to the small screen as it’s first season debuts on Netflix. The streaming giant has released the first full trailer for the new season and it makes you wonder, who seduced who in the Garden of Eden?
So, let’s rewind a little. For three seasons we watched Lucifer (Tom Ellis) boldly own his identity as the Prince of Darkness. He said, multiple times, that he’s the devil. His partner, Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) never believed him until she finally saw his devil face. So where does this leave this odd couple? That’s what we’re about to find out.
In the first trailer for the new Netflix series, Chloe doesn’t seem too accepting of Lucifer and his true identity. Mr. Morningstar is spiraling out of control dealing with her rejection. Enter Eve (Inbar Lavi). If anything, Eve appears to be a perfect match for Lucifer. She likes to party as much as he does! Where Chloe can’t fully accept him as he is, Eve says he’s perfect the way he is. Even Dr. Linda (Rachael Harris) can see this isn’t going to end well. Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) also warns his brother about Eve. And Chloe…well, she just looks very jealous.
Lucifer also stars Kevin Alejandro, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Scarlett Estevez, and Aimee Garcia. Guest stars for season four include Graham McTavish and Vinessa Vidotto. Watch the trailer below.

Lucifer season four debuts on Netflix on May 8.
