Team Winchester is back to square one in the Supernatural mid season premiere. Michael (Christian Keyes) took control of Dean Winchester’s (Jensen Ackles) vessel. It’s up to Sam (Jared Padalecki) to save his brother again, by going into his head. What will Sam find in there?
At the end of season thirteen, Michael took over Dean Winchester’s body after the final battle with Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino). Michael is from another world where he is winning a war against humans. He believes the angels should rule the Earth. So he took control of Dean to start a war on this Earth. Sam and the hunters were determined to find Dean. Michael made it easy for the Winchesters and just left. Since then, Dean has been having dizzy spells, but he was determined to get revenge on Michael for taking over in the first place.
Michael has been busy since he left Dean. He built an army of enhance werewolves and vampires. The Winchesters sent in their werewolf pal Garth (DJ Qualls) to infiltrate Michael’s army. That led them straight to Kansas City. Threatened by the hunters, Michael bounced back into Dean’s body to protect himself.
In the winter premiere, the hunters capture Michael and tie him down to find a way to reach Dean. Sam goes inside of Dean’s head, hoping to find him and kick Michael out. It appears that Cas (Misha Collins) goes with him, but are they too late? Michael’s army is on the loose, threatening to create more monsters. Can the hunters stop Michael and save Dean? Or is Dean gone for good? And does Jack (Alexander Calvert) finally get his powers back? Watch the trailer below.
