She’s back on the case! We learned from TVLine that Enola Holmes 2, the sequel to Netflix’s Enola Holmes, will premiere sooner rather than later. In addition, the streamer unveiled first-look photos featuring our fave sleuthing queen, portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown, in her element.
Here’s a synopsis for the flick per Netflix Media Center:
“Now a detective-for-hire like her infamous brother, Enola Holmes takes on her first official case to find a missing girl, as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel.”

TvLine reveals more details regarding the highly anticipated sequel:
“This case proves to be far more puzzling than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world — from London’s sinister factories and colorful music halls to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. As the sparks of a deadly conspiracy ignite, Enola must call upon the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel her mystery. The game, it seems, has found its feet again!”
Starring alongside Brown is Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Susan Wokoma as Edith, Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Adeel Akhtar as Lestrade and Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes. Sharon Duncan-Brewster joins the fray as Mira Troy and David Thewlis in an undisclosed role.

Enola Holmes premiered on Netflix on September 23, 2020, to mostly mixed reviews. It scored a fresh critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes with 91 percent, while the Audience Score clocked in at 70 percent. I thought it was a pleasant cotton candy flick, providing gorgeous aesthetics and brief escapism. Sometimes, that’s all I need from a film.
