Everything is NOT awesome in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. The new trailer gives a few more details about the new adventure that takes our hero Emmett (Chris Pratt) into space.
Lucy, aka Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) starts off with a mini-monologue about what happened to the world after Emmett took down President Business. “Once everything was awesome, now everything is bleak.” Emmett interrupts her and she tells him to toughen up. Too late, an alien ship invades their town. They would have gotten away if Emmett didn’t open the door to save a baby star. He’s so sensitive. That’s when the LEGO DUPLO invaders get in and take everyone but Emmett. It’s up to Emmett to save the day!

Charlie Day (Benny), Alison Brie (Unikitty), and Nick Offerman (Metal Beard) return for the sequel along with Batman himself Will Arnett. The Duplo invaders are Stephanie Beatriz (Sweet Mayhem), Arturo Castro (Ice Cream Cone), and their Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi voiced by Tiffany Haddish. Pratt also takes on a second role who we meet in the trailer as Rex Dangervest, the galaxy-defending archaeologist, cowboy, and raptor trainer. Emmett likes the raptors.
