According to an article on EW, we’ll all start getting a taste of Earth 2 pretty early on in the sophomore season of the CW’s hit series, The Flash. Similar to Season One and all their time travel fun, it sounds like it’s going to be a pretty fantastic approach to their on-going story, with a bunch of truly out there sci-fi twists.
As Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg puts it,
“We’re trying to do the same thing this year with Earth 2 and the concept of the multiverse and the concept of doppelgängers. We’ve been having a lot of fun with that and getting glimpses of Earth 2 probably sooner than people would’ve thought.”
We already know how true this is as we’ve got a new villain in Zoom as well as the introduction of two other speedsters, Jay Garrick and Wally West, all of whom have carried the mantle of The Flash. Also, the concept of doppelgängers is a fun one. Perhaps Barry Allen will end up seeing himself as a villain in one of these new multiverses?
