From the suite life to the college life! Dylan Sprouse has been cast as a series regular for HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, Deadline reports. The series is the brainchild of Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble.
This marks Sprouse’s first major TV role since his Disney Channel days. The actor is most known for co-starring alongside twin brother Cole Sprouse (Riverdale) in Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck. Since the latter ended in 2011, Sprouse has remained in the film sphere with 2020’s After We Collided and the comedy Banana Split, which debuted in 2018.
Besides his film work, Sprouse has also dabbled in comic book writing. He wrote Suneater, a dark tale of a ninth-century Norwegian warrior who sacrifices his leg for a parasite that imbues him with great powers. The comic made its premiere this year. He founded the mead brewery All-Wise Meadery in 2018.

Sprouse is the newest addition to The Sex Lives of College Girls‘ cast. He joins previously announced Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott and Renée Rapp. The show revolves around four roommates at New England Essex College who decide to embrace college life and live it to the max. Sprouse will play Nico, a junior at Essex.
Welcome back to the world of television, Dylan Sprouse! While it might be strange for some of us to see Zack Martin in a mature HBO Max show, I’m curious to see what he’ll bring to the table.
