The newest trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves opens with our rag-tag group of adventurers coming face to face with a chonky red dragon. This sends them on the run for their lives, packed with falling debris, lava pits and magic portals. We then get several clips showing off tons of action and fighting. For players of Dungeons & Dragons, there is a lot to take in, from the different magical items to spells cast and more. Plus, we get another extraordinary owlbear moment. And we all love owlbears.
The epic adventure follows a thief and his band of very unlikely adventurers who have to undertake a heist to retrieve a lost relic, or the world will end. Pretty basic stuff for those who have played the game. But it’s how Goldstein and Daley have weaved this epic adventure, along with the silliness that comes from sitting at a table with your friends, that wins our hearts. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves very much gives the feel of a home game mixed with an epic adventure.
