The anticipation is growing as we drift closer to the release of Paramount Pictures’ Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. The film is directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley from their screenplay written alongside Michael Gilio. Gilio and Chris McKay created the original story. The new trailer gives us a peek at the hilariously epic adventure ahead of us.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is based on the world created by Wizards of the Coast and has been known within the TTRPG community for decades. The film strives to find a balance between the beautiful fantasy world and love for adventure with humor ripped from the funniest D&D tables. The first teaser trailer gave us a peek at what was to come, but the new trailer gave us even more to enjoy.

It helps set up the true villains within Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves by introducing the Red Wizards and Hugh Grant‘s Forge. The trailer has a more serious undertone as we learn that Chris Pine‘s bard Edgin has stolen something for the wrong people and now needs to right that wrong. Of course, he will need a group of adventurers to help him along the way. This leads to joining forces with a motley crew, facing off against a long list of terrifying creatures and puzzles galore.

Pine and Hugh are joined on this epic adventure by Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman and Daisy Head.
