Welcome to Tavern Talk Thursday! We are expanding! What started as a column dedicated to chatting with members of the TTRPG community is growing to talk about all things TTRPG. We aim to continue sharing all the things we love about the community and all the content within. So, consider this a little peek into our favorite worlds and creators as we explore everything we love.
Wizards of the Coast is spending 2024 celebrating the 50th anniversary of its iconic TTRPG, Dungeons and Dragons. For 50 years, adventurers have been meeting in taverns to embark on incredible journeys to icey mountain tops or deep, dark, dwarven mines and everywhere in between. The year-long birthday celebration means we are being treated to some pretty exciting crossover merch. So, to help continue the celebration, we wanted to share four of our favorites that we know you should be checking out, too.

Dungeons and Dragons 50th Anniversary Crossover Merch
BlackMilk
Who doesn’t love to rep their favorite TTRPGs and look cool doing it? The Australian online clothing company BlackMilk didn’t just drop one or two items; they have 30! The Dungeons and Dragons-inspired merch ranges from hoodies and T-shirts to dresses, dress pants and even a rather snazzy-looking Tomb of Annihilation blazer. With so many different options, we can’t help but know that fans will find something to add to their wardrobe.
Shop the entire BlackMilk x Dungeons and Dragons crossover collection on their official site.
Lego
The kid still in our hearts couldn’t be happier about this next piece of crossover merch. The Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale set was released in one of Lego’s recent set drops. It features everything we love within the Dungeons and Dragons world, including the giant red dragon Cinderhowl, iconic creatures within the world, a tavern and much more. We suggest spending your next game night building this incredible set and then spending the following one adventuring in it.
Check out the set on Lego’s official website.

Converse
One of the first, and one of our favorite, crossovers announced for Dungeons and Dragons’ 50th anniversary was with Converse. The iconic shoes have only become more iconic. The limited edition drop features scenes, characters and creatures that will catch any player’s eye. Quite a few of the pairs are customizable, so you can mix and match color and design to find the perfect pair for your next adventure.
Check out the Converse x Dungeons and Dragons crossover collection on their official site.
USPS
You read that header right, fellow adventurers. Dungeons and Dragons has partnered with the United States Postal Service to release their very own set of forever stamps. The celebratory stamps feature 10 designs that include iconic characters, creatures and encounters familiar to all players. Stock up on these and use them to send out your TTRPG-related holiday cards or 50th-anniversary notecards.
Preorder your Forever Stamps and other Dungeons and Dragons USPS merchandise on the official site before they hit stores on August 1, 2024.
