Casting is underway for HBO Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood. Emily Watson and Shirley Henderson are set to star in the next phase in the Dune saga. This series is based on the novel “Sisterhood of Dune” by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, according to Variety.
“Sisterhood of Dune” is a part of the 19 volume prelude by Herbert and Anderson. The series is a prequel to the “Dune” book series, written by Frank Herbert. The younger Herbert and Anderson wrote six prequel novels before finishing Herbert Sr’s original story with two more books. Herbert completed six novels before he passed away in 1986. “Sisterhood of Dune” is book one in the Schools of Dune trilogy.
