Marvel dropped a brand new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness during the Super Bowl LVI! This new trailer gives us an even closer look at the story and the action we will get to experience when the film finally drops. We get the chance to dive into the many worlds within the multiverse.

The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer opens with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) talking about a dream he continues to have. Maybe it would be better described as a nightmare. He made a choice to save the world and we aren’t sure if that is a choice we have seen him make just yet. However, we do know that the choice opened up doors throughout the multiverse and now it looks like Strange is going to need to find a way to save the world before things get too out of hand.

The bulk of the trailer shows off many of the familiar faces Strange will seek out during his journey. That includes Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen), Wong (Benedict Wong), Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams), Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Miss America (Xochitl Gomez), to just name a few. We also got a lot of quick glimpses at ominous characters and little chat between Strange and Sinister Strange. I am most excited about how absolutely badass Miss America looks within this trailer. I have been excited to see her on-screen since Gomez was cast and I am not disappointed.

We still have so many questions leading up to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but this trailer gives some idea of what we can expect. My biggest question right now is, will Strange and Wanda end up on different sides. Towards the end of the trailer, the two have an interaction where Wanda remarks how she broke the rules and became the enemy, but when he does it, he’s a hero. We agree, Wanda, it’s not fair. However, I don’t want to see these two powerhouses go head to head.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness drops into theaters on May 6, 2022. We’ve got the trailer down below for your enjoyment! What are your theories? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
