Happy Disney Investor Day! The entertainment juggernaut that is Disney revealed a hefty number of new programming coming down the pipeline on Thursday, Deadline reports. So, what can we expect to watch on Disney Plus, the streamer that’s amassed 86.8 million subscribers?

Kareem Daniel, The Walt Disney Company’s Chairman of Media and Entertainment Distribution, revealed that 10 Star Wars series and 10 Marvel shows will be released over the next few years. But that’s not all! Pixar’s joining in on the fun with 15 animated and live-action series. That’s 35 new shows for consumers to enjoy over the span of a few years!

Daniel expounded a bit on the above:

With these Disney+ originals, along with theatrical releases and library titles, we will be adding something new to the service every week.

Of course, Disney being Disney, no intricate details were unveiled amid the company’s four-hour-long investor showcase. Deadline surmises that the Ewan McGregor-led Obi-Wan Kenobi series is among the ranks, along with the Cassian Andor show starring Diego LunaRussian Doll creator Leslye Headland is also spearheading a female-centric series for Disney Plus.

As for current programming, The Mandalorian has two episodes left in its second outing. The highly anticipated WandaVision is slated for January 15. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki may debut sometime next year or 2022, depending on the global pandemic. Hawkeye is filming with stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld at the forefront. Unfortunately, besides WandaVision, we don’t have release dates for the other known Marvel series.

Talk about ambition! Ten Marvel shows, 10 Star Wars series and 15 Pixar iterations. Not only that, but we’ll be privy to new content every week. The future is here, and her name is Disney Plus. I can only speculate what the unnamed projects are, but I have my fingers crossed for an Ahsoka Tano series. Make it so!
