Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is already bound to be a good time. Today, the official trailer dropped as well as another large set of Easter Eggs and a lot of fun. At least for fans of Disney it’s a lot of fun! The trailer shows us a lot less of the overall internet but still has jokes for us.
Ralph and Vanellope get uploaded to the internet while Daft Punk‘s “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” accompanies the sights of the world wide web. We’re introduced to the Search Bar (voiced by Alan Tudyk) who “aggressively” tries to figure out what Ralph is searching for with only a letter or two, much to the annoyance of him. Everyone who uses Google understands this all too well. Vanellope wants to go to crazy site and they’re sent to Oh My Disney, home of Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar (holy meta!) and of course, Disney princesses. She ends up in the princesses private room and they question how she’s a princess. You have to see what they say, but let’s just say, they’re not too happy it has to do with a “big, strong man”.

The Easter eggs fill up every single frame of this trailer that it’s overwhelming. We had Amazon, Facebook, Google, little blue birds tweeting photos and text, Snapchat – I even found MySpace! Then of course inside the Oh My Disney site. TIE Fighters and X-Wings, Iron Man, Dumbo greeting children, plus Eeyore talking to Vanellope. R2’s there and so are The Muppets, plus Eve from WALL-E. Guys, I could go on – but you really have to see it for yourself. One of the best things is that they got most of the original voices for the princesses – that really makes my day! Plus we got to meet a new character voiced by Taraji P. Henson who brings some more sass to the table.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 leaves Litwak’s video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet—which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a webite entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “BuzzzTube.”
