Degree of Love

Yenjin in college with her friends upset that they have never had dates.

Degree of Love WEBTOON Original Series.

Love is in the air this week, and we are heating things up with Eu-Aeng’s Degree of Love. This romance series follows Yejin, a book-smart girl with no dating experience. With high school behind her and the weight of university and supporting her low-income family ahead of her, she only wants one thing – a relationship. But how can she balance these responsibilities and get her feet wet on the romance scene? And what happens when childhood bestie Hyeon pops up in her corner?

We are entirely on board with the summer of love idea and Degree of Love will be a must-read for everyone. Friends to lovers is a trope we can always get on board with, and mixing in the innocent and shy Yejin elevates it. The chemistry between Yejin and Hyeon is what really keeps this story moving. We are really enjoying the ride, but we can’t wait to see how this all ties up in the end.

Hiding in the Moon

Siomara excited that she is finally done work for the day.

Hiding in the Moon WEBTOON Original Series.

This week’s second series is Puik‘s Hiding in the Moon. Siomara wants a quiet life after running away from Capital City and ignoring the Darkness that inhabits the world. But what happens when a mysterious neighbor moves in? Does Siomara risk getting close to him, or does she redefine her boundaries? And what is she to do when she realizes he might be just like her? Is it worth reintroducing the world she cut out?

Hiding in the Moon is a new WEBTOON Original series, but please believe it has already taken over our lives. The romance series starts strong by introducing the supernatural spooky side genre at a level we didn’t see coming. We love a good supernatural spooky romance, and with seven episodes currently available, this one looks extremely promising. We suggest jumping on this train now and making it a weekly must-read.
