Here we are in December: the final month of 2018. And what a year it’s been for video games! The innovations and games that have come out this year alone have made it one of the most incredible gaming years we’ve had in a while. But it’s not over yet! Here are some of our most anticipated titles coming out this month!
Just Cause 4
Jump into the role of Rico Rodriguez once again in Square Enix‘s Just Cause 4! With your arsenal of weapons and vehicles, ignite the rebellion and take down the Black Hand all while liberating the country of Solís. And the onslaught of enemies isn’t the only thing you have to worry about. The land of Solís is known for its unpredictable weather, including tornados. So be careful where you’re flying to next! Along with the plethora of destruction, prepare to dive into Just Cause 4‘s story and explore Rico’s father’s past and your most worthy adversary yet: Gabriela Morales. And for fans of the series, this game has a lot of fun Easter Eggs up its sleeves. Players will find a Frying Pan melee weapon, a drive-able Soap Box Racer, Cow Guns, and even an Easter Egg that turns the game’s visuals into A-Ha’s “Take On Me” music video. If you want a game that packs in the fun, adventure, and more easter eggs than you can handle, grab yourself a copy of Just Cause 4! This title is now available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Ashen
In the RPG Ashen, you take on the role of a lone wanderer in search of a permanent home. Throughout your journey, you must forge friendships, destroy enemies, and explore the realm that surrounds you. The title Ashen represents more than just the sunless world that you live in. It also represents temporary lives and establishments you’ll find on your journey. As you explore, your character will level up through Talismans and equipment which will make you strong enough to take on the world around you. Ashen also features multiplayer capability. You’ll be able to interact, trade, battle and journey alongside other players in this massive world. Your story is what you make of it. Ashen is now available for the PC and Xbox One.

Overall
From beginning to end, 2018 remains a remarkable year for gaming. Because this year was so successful, we’re starting to see how it’s shaken up the industry for 2019. Sony will not be attending E3 2019. Likewise, E3 2019 will be “unlike any E3 in the past”. Esports thrived this year with the first Overwatch World Cup, and of course, we’ve got another whole year of games to play! We’ll see you in 2019, with more anticipated games!
