Wolverine screams in Deadpool's face in a poster for Marvel's Deadpool & Wolverine film.

Highlights:

  • Tickets are now on sale for Marvel’s highly anticipated tentpoleDeadpool & Wolverine
  • Marvel released a digital spot celebrating tickets going on sale, which you can watch below.
  • In addition, we have a new poster (check it out below).

Today, tickets for Deadpool & Wolverine are available for purchase. The movie might be two months away, but you can get your seat now. To mark the occasion, Marvel Studios has released a new poster for the film. They’ve also released a new digital spot, which mostly reuses things we’ve seen but includes a few new clips in the mix, too.

Deadpool & Wolverine Spot, Poster and Tickets

Did you finally get the earworm “Like a Prayer” by Madonna out of your head? Well, get ready for it to crawl right back in, like those slugs from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Just like the previously released teaser and trailer for the movie, the new digital spot uses this iconic pop song for a soundtrack.

As mentioned above, much of the footage in the new digital spot is clips recut from previously released promotional material. However, we are treated to a new shot of Dogpool running through a field. At the conclusion of the spot, we get a few novel lines of bawdy banter between the titular superheroes.

Meanwhile, the poster continues the movie’s marketing trend of “just the characters” (and their weapons) against a white background (or “Void,” you might say). In this new poster, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) are locked in battle with one another. It’s okay; we know they must fight before teaming up. The only question is: Is a conciliatory kiss in the offing? Keep your finger-blades crossed.
