Deadpools assemble! Did you forget that the release of Deadpool and Wolverine is just around the corner? Not anymore: a new teaser trailer is here to remind you. And to encourage you to mark your calendar, that trailer teases the reveal of the Marvel Cinematic Universe incarnation of Lady Deadpool. But who could be playing the Wade Wilson variant? And what other members of the Deadpool Corps could be waiting in the wings?
The Deadpool Corps in Deadpool and Wolverine
Who are the Deadpool Corps? They’re a team of five Deadpool multiversal variants, including Deadpool 616. In addition to our familiar hero, there is also Lady Deadpool, Dogpool (also seen in trailers), Kidpool and Headpool. Assembled over the course of Prelude to Deadpool Corps #1 – 5 for a multiverse-saving mission in Deadpool Corps #1 – 12, it’s easy to see how this circa 2010 series will easily fit into the current day MCU.

In the series, Deadpool Corps travel together in a ship called the Bea Arthur. As you can imagine, they manage to enrage citizens from across the multiverse as they journey together. After the Deadpool Corps series, the Deadpool Corps appeared in Deadpool Family #1. However, tragedy was just around the corner in Deadpool Kills Deadpool #1 – 4. This final act of the Deadpool Killogy sees Deadpool variants from across the multiverse being hunted down and murdered by the Evil Deadpool Corps. This malignant Corps is led by Dreadpool.
We already know that Deadpool, Lady Deadpool and Dogpool are appearing in Deadpool and Wolverine. But maybe these Deadpool variants can avoid the grisly fate that ultimately befell the Marvel Comics characters that inspired them.
