The Deadpool 3 cast is growing faster than the titular character’s regenerating limbs. In an article posted to Deadline on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, it was announced that two more actors will be resuming their roles for Deadpool 3. Both Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle) and Stefan Kapicic (Colossus) will be returning for the third installment in the Deadpool series.
Although Vanessa was killed in the opening of the second movie, time travel shenanigans and multiversal madness can easily explain her return. However, in spite of the fact that the character appeared in and survived both preceding movies, it remains to be seen whether or not Brianna Hildebrand will reprise her role as Negasonic Teenage Warhead for Deadpool 3.
Deadpool 3
This is just the latest update on the growing Deadpool 3 cast. The threequel will star Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, aka the Merc with a Mouth. Co-headlining the movie will be Hugh Jackman, reprising the role of Wolverine for the first time since Logan. While Wolverine did not appear in the first two Deadpool movies, he was heavily referenced by dialogue in both (plus Deadpool 2 included a Logan-spoiling music box).

Baccarin and Kapicic won’t be the only series alums reprising their respective roles. Deadpool 3 will also include the return of both Karan Soni as Dopinder and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. After Vanessa and Colossus, this means very few of the integral supporting roles from the first two movies have yet to be announced for return. Along with NTW, we have still yet to hear whether fan-favorite characters Yukio (Shioli Kutsuna) or Russell Collins (Julian Dennison) will return.

However, the Deadpool 3 cast will feature some fresh faces. These include Matthew Macfadyen and Emma Corrin, who will be appearing in undisclosed roles. However, considering Colossus is a member of the X-Men and Vanessa is a mutant in the Marvel Comics source material, it seems very possible both new additions may be playing Marvel mutants.
