Deadpool 3 continues to round out its impressive cast with more exciting character returns. Deadline reports that Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna are the latest to join the Marvel threequel, reprising their roles as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio, respectively. The news comes hot on the heels of heavy-hitting newcomers Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) signing onto the film in undisclosed roles.
Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Free Guy) will be at the helm for Deadpool 3, directing from a script he wrote with Ryan Reynolds, Paul Wernick and Zeb Wells. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin penned the first draft of said script.

Ryan Reynolds will suit up as our favorite titular “merc with a mouth” for his third go-round. It was announced last September that Hugh Jackman would reprise his role as Logan/Wolverine. Other returning supporting players besides Hildebrand and Kutsuna include Morena Baccarin as Wade Wilson/Deadpool’s fiancée Vanessa, Karan Soni as Deadpool’s cab-driving sidekick Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Wade’s roommate Blind Al, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus and Rob Delaney as Peter, a human X-Force member.
Hildebrand has appeared in Deadpool and Deadpool 2 as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a Marvel comics character created by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. She debuted in New X-Men #115 in May 2001 and is named after the song of the same name from the band Monster Magnet. Her powers in the films differ from her initial comic book portrayal but have since been altered in the comics to match her onscreen persona. She possesses the powers of the character Cannonball: the creation of high-impact kinetic charges.
Kutsuna debuted as Yukio in Deadpool 2 as Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend. Yukio’s comic book counterpart splashed onto the scene in Wolverine #2 in September 1982, created by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. In the comics, Yukio is a ninja and a supporting character of the X-Men, particularly Wolverine. The film version is an X-Men member with electrokinesis and technical prowess.
