DEADPOOL 2 Gets Flashy with Brand New Poster

One of the best things about Deadpool and Deadpool 2 is the promotion. Posters, short ads, magazine articles – you name it, they crush it. In our latest poster, our favorite merc with the mouth channels his best Jennifer Beals by being showered in a stream of bullet shells. I mean, does it get any better than that? I don’t think so.

Star Ryan Reynolds went to Twitter to share the amazing poster today. It shows Deadpool invoking the famous scene in the 80s dance film, Flashdance, where Beals’ character is a dancer in a club. The scene has been re-created and parodied so many times but nothing has perfected it quite like this. I just keep laughing while thinking about it.

If we thought the promotional material for the first film was great, I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us as we wait for the sequel. It has already brought my personal favorite, the Bob Ross parody. I don’t know if any promotional material can top that. Hell, I don’t even know if any promotional material for any film can top that! It still makes me laugh hysterically. Needless to say, this poster is great and I need more of them stat!
