BBC Radio 1 has given us a great gift on this Monday. Â They have posted their Playground Insults from Scott Mills’ radio show, starring Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin of Deadpool 2. Â The costars face-off in a brutally hysterical brawl of words and it is most definitely NSFW.

The goal was to make the other competitor break into laughter or land a devastating insult. Â Both of those things happened. Â Often. Â We all know that Ryan Reynolds is as witty as his Marvel character. Â I was worried that Josh Brolin would get trounced, to be honest, but he lands plenty of punches and laughs. Â There were some low blows and some low-hanging fruit… if you know what I mean. Â But there were also some impressively quick and witty comebacks as well.Â

So, put in your headphones and take five minutes out of your day to watch two handsome celebrities roast each other in close quarters. Â It’s all in good fun, you need to see it, and it’s a great primer for when you witness Deadpool’s signature off-color charm in the sequel. Â
“That’s three balls to you my friend, it’s called a tri-sticle!” – Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin take it in turns to INSULT EACH OTHER in the Playground Insults game on Scott Mills’ radio show on BBC Radio 1.
