After several years of speculation, Rocksteady’s latest DC video game was finally revealed during the DC FanDome event: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Rocksteady is the team behind the beloved Batman: Arkham series (Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Arkham Knight, etc). And in their latest title, players can expect all of the thrilling gameplay from their previous games, as well as new and exciting features!
Within the cinematic trailer of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, we see the bright and shining city of Metropolis. This setting is a huge aesthetic shift from the grim Gotham of the Arkham series. Likewise, we immediately meet our four main Suicide Squad “heroes”: Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and King Shark. Throughout the trailer, we watch this team of antiheroes joke and fight their way through enemies as the terrifying Brainiac lingers in the background. Suddenly Superman descends upon our team, but things are not as they appear. His eerie purple eyes prepare us for the worst: The Justice League has been corrupted and must be taken down.

Players will have the option of playing solo, or teaming up with up to three friends for seamless four-player co-op action! Players will also have the ability to change characters throughout the game. Tired of bashing heads as Harley? Then feel free to jump into the jet-packed role of Deadshot! The fluidity of gameplay promises exciting yet different experiences for every gamer.
What’s exciting is that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League takes place in the Arkham universe. So we can look forward to seeing some familiar faces, storylines and more! Honestly, all of us at GGA can’t wait for when a gameplay trailer drops. And we are looking forward to seeing the other members of the Justice League that we have to take down!
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release in 2022 for the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. For more information, you can check out the official website.
