Happy Halloween, readers! SNL has given spooky season what it has always needed: one full hour of their iconic Halloween sketch, David S. Pumpkins. It’s fantastic. It’s mesmerizing. It’s taken me an hour to write this one paragraph because I keep going back to watch the video and now the music is a permanent earworm. Ay Papi!
If you’re not familiar with the sketch, it stars Tom Hanks as David S. Pumpkins with Mikey Day and Bobby Moynihan as bizarre Troll-haired skeletons. It takes place in a haunted house elevator ride with the bizarre David S. Pumpkins appearing throughout the ride. Both the sketch and the one-hour loop are below. Watch. Enjoy.
