The truth is slowly coming to light on Dark Winds. In “Antigonish,” Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) and Bernadette Manuelito (Jessica Matten) find a clue to a hidden agenda. And Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon) is put in another dangerous situation on Dark Winds, “Antigonish.”
Here’s what we know about Colton Wolf (Nicholas Logan). He is obviously a gun for hire, covering up something to do with the contents in BJ Vines’ (John Diehl) box. Possibly something to do with the explosion that killed Joe Leaphorn Jr. According to the Charley family, “the blonde man” caused the explosion. He also killed Emerson and Tomas Charley and attempted to kill Benny Charley (Jet James Grant) too.
We also know that Wolf is also looking for a woman named Linda Maddox. He killed the last PI he hired for lack of results. He hired a new PI, Deloyd (Tank Jones) to continue the search. Turns out that Linda Maddox is his mother.

When Wolf arrived at the hospital, he immediately spotted Chee. Wolf, disguised as a doctor, did his best to blend in, but Chee spotted him while on the phone with Bernadette. He warned her and left to find a hiding place. Wolf pulled the fire alarm and pursued Chee through the hospital with a gun in his hand.
Bernadette alerted Sheriff Sena (A. Martinez) and called Joe. Joe was at home, telling Emma (Deanna Allison) about the case when he got the call. While they made their way to the hospital, Chee found a hiding place in the ceiling. Unfortunately, he left evidence of where he was and Wolf began shooting at the ceiling. A young security guard tries to stop him, but Wolf shoots him.
Wolf stopped shooting to reload the gun, giving Chee an opportunity to jump out of the ceiling. The two men fight, resulting in Chee getting hurt again. The guard tosses a bottle of mace to Chee and he uses it to stop the fight. Bernadette arrives, forcing Wolf to jump out of the window to escape.

Bernadette pursues Wolf while Chee checks on the guard, who succumbs to his gunshot wound. Wolf hobbles to his car and is stopped by a local cop. The cop checks on him and tells him to clear the area. Then he hears Sena on the radio, telling everyone to be on the lookout for a man disguised as a doctor. The cop turns around to look at Wolf and Wolf shoots him.
Joe drives up at the same time Bernadette runs out of the hospital. They both see Wolf drive off and start shooting. Then they jump into Joe’s truck and chase Wolf to the edge of town. They find his vehicle, but he’s nowhere to be found. Joe finds blood on the ground, but it stops in the desert.
The next morning, Sena and Joe join police forces to search for the blonde man. Joe sends Bernadette to the state capital to research the letters they found in Vines’ box. Chee is released from the hospital and offers to drive Benny to Shiprock to meet his family.

Meanwhile, reporter Mary Landon (Jacqueline Byers) questions women coming out of the Indian clinic. Helen Atcitty (DezBaa’) confronts her, telling her that several women have complained about her. Mary agrees to leave but has one question for Helen. She says there has been a 350% spike in women being involuntarily sterilized since the Family Planning Act passed the year before. Of those women, one in four are Native women. She asks Helen how it stops if they don’t stop it.
Emma helps a young Navajo girl deliver her baby. The woman’s husband is upset that they didn’t go to a hospital and almost doesn’t let Emma help. The mother and baby are healthy. Emma leaves shortly after and starts crying once she gets into her truck.
Wolf makes it to a hogan and finds water. An elderly Navajo woman spots him. She yells at him for drinking her water, but she feeds him and cleans his wounds.

Chee takes Benny to Shiprock. They arrive early so they get snow cones. Benny asks about Chee’s profession. Chee explains that he’s a PI and he helps people. He even has business cards and gives one to Benny. Benny asks why he didn’t put his clans on the card. It’s something he never really thought of.
Chee asks for Benny’s clans and it turns out they are related. By Navajo ways, Benny is actually Chee’s father. Chee tells Benny to call him whenever, even if it’s just to chat. And he can call him collect. Benny notices Chee’s collar and says it looks funny. Benny’s mom arrives. He thanks Chee, his son, before running into his mom’s arms. She starts to cry as she hugs Benny. She nods at Chee, saying thank you and they get in the car. Benny adjusts his collar to look like Chee’s.
Bernadette goes through microfiche of state letters and finds the copy of the one she found at Malpais. She returns to the station with results. She says the papers they found were from the survey of the same drilling site where Joe Jr. was killed. Dillon Charley delivered the report from the drill site to the geological bureau. He was a courier for Drum Co. The report states that there wasn’t enough uranium to mine. BJ Vines bought the site for cheap and is now building a drill at the site. Why?

Sheriff Sena interrupts and says his guys didn’t find anything. They ruled out the possibility of wild animals getting the suspect. Even animals leave waste behind. The comment triggers a thought for Joe. He remembers someone complaining about illegal dumping happening on his property, but they didn’t follow up.
Joe and Bernadette leave to follow up on that complaint. Gerald Nez (Loren Anthony) complained that someone was illegally dumping waste from their RV on his property. They take a look at the waste site and discover two sets of tracks. They think the tracks are from a pickup and a trailer.
Wolf waits until the old Navajo lady falls asleep. He takes a saddle and blanket outside. He steals a horse and returns to his trailer. Once he’s there, Wolf sits alone and listens the radio. He hears a car approach. And we return to the scene from Episode two when Joe and Bernadette arrive at the trailer.
