Highlights:
- Daredevil: Born Again brings yet another familiar face to the fore: Vanessa Fisk.
- The character is Wilson Fisk’s wife, as seen in Marvel’s Daredevil Netflix series.
- A set photo from the recently wrapped production revealed who will play Vanessa in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe series.
In 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Kingpin (Liev Schreiber) searches the multiverse for a variant of his late lover, Vanessa Fisk. But it turns out he should have been looking for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That’s because the latest set photo from the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again gives us our first look at the return of Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer).
Daredevil: Born Again
Zurer originally appeared as Vanessa in Daredevil season 1 on Netflix. An art dealer who won Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) over, Vanessa helped show a different side of the Kingpin. In fact, the romance between Wilson and Vanessa was actually pretty sweet and romantic. However, the couple was separated shortly after they wed.

The Born Again set photo is the latest image from the filming of the show to hit the internet. Just last week, a set photo gave us our first glimpse of Jon Bernthal reprising the role of Punisher. And these aren’t the only characters who originated on the Netflix Defenders shows that will appear in Born Again. In addition to Daredevil (Charlie Cox) himself, the series will also see the MCU debut of Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter, aka Bullseye, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page.
However, several other beloved characters from the Netflix shows have yet to be confirmed to appear. These include Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Coulter) and Jeri Hogarth (Carrie Anne-Moss). Could their involvement be underway but under wraps?
