The 25th installment of the James Bond series is coming to theaters.  But, beyond that, and the fact that Daniel Craig will revise the title role… we haven’t heard much about it.  Well, a little rain has fallen.  Danny Boyle (Steve Jobs, Slum Dog Millionaire) has confirmed that he’s working on Bond 25.

Boyle confirmed his involvement to Metro New York on Wednesday night, Variety reports.  He was a little cagey, not wanting to give too much away, and did not confirm that he will direct the project, saying “it all depends”.  But, he did tell reporters that he is working on a script with screenwriter John Hodge.  On that, he said, “We’ve got an idea, John Hodge — the screenwriter — and I have got this idea, and John is writing it at the moment,” and, “We are working on a script which we hope they’ll like.”

This isn’t the first time Boyle and Hodge have teamed up.  They’ve worked on several projects together, including The Beach, Transpotting and T2 Transpotting.

Bond 25 is set to open in theaters on November 8, 2019.  So, though Boyle wouldn’t say when shooting might begin on the film… they’d better get to work if they’re going to make that release date!!  We’ll keep you updated on further Bond developments.
