Great news day for Marvel fans. Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, has a live-action Ms. Marvel series in development. This news came before Kevin Feige’s announcement at D23 that She-Hulk and Moon Knight are also in development at the new streaming service.

Ms. Marvel is a beloved superhero in the comics world. There have been many iterations of the character, the comic hero has been around for over 40 years. Carol Danvers held the mantle before becoming Captain Marvel.

In the Disney+ series, the series will be centered around the wildly popular Kamala Khan series which won a Hugo Award in 2015 for Best Graphic Story. Kamala Khan is a teenager from New Jersey, Pakistani-American and inhuman. She polymorphous which means she’s stretchy! Bisha K. Ali (Hulu’s Four Weddings and a Funeral) is set write and act as showrunner for the series.
