As we get closer to the beginning of the fall television season, more details emerge about the anticipated CW Arrowverse Crossover. The crossover has become a major television event. And this year is more exciting with the addition of Batwoman. So when is this happening? Here are the dates and times of the next big Arrowverse Crossover event:
Sunday, December 9 – The Crossover begins with a special episode of The Flash at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central
Monday, December 10 – The story continues on Arrow on it’s regular night and time, 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central
Tuesday, December 11 – Everything will conclude on special episode of Supergirl at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central
I think it’s interesting that they flipped The Flash and Supergirl’s time slots…but why? Does this mean the Flash will be the first to meet Batwoman?
The CW has featured characters from their four superhero shows, Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow in the two previous big crossover events. The first crossover introduced Supergirl (Melisssa Benoist) to the super friends known as the Arrowverse. Last year’s crossover brought the superheroes together for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West’s (Candice Patton) wedding that was interrupted by doppelgangers from Earth-X.

Here’s what we know so far about this year’s crossover. In May, Stephen Amell, star of Arrow made the big announcement at the CW Upfronts. “For the very first time appearing, we’ll be fighting alongside Batwoman, which is terrific!” At San Diego Comic Con in July, we learned that the Legends would not be a part of this year’s crossover.
And in early August, the CW announced the casting of Ruby Rose as Batwoman, a.k.a Kate Kane. More details should be released in the coming weeks. The questions I want to know are: Where will Batwoman first appear? Who will be the first to meet her? And who is the villain? For now we just have to enjoy this poster, featuring the Batwoman signal.
