In the DC comics, Elseworlds explores the “What If” situations. And it looks like we are exploring what if Barry Allen was the Green Arrow and Oliver Queen was the Flash? The possibilities are endless in the Arrowverse! Who and what else will be affected? You kind of have to wonder if Amell and The Flash star Grant Gustin just wanted to trade place for the day. Check out the poster below.
There are no plot details for this year’s crossover, but the event has been getting a major buzz since San Diego Comic Con. The crossover event has been bringing together the stars of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow together for the past two years. As announced at SDCC, the Legends will not be on the adventure this year. What we do know is the Green Arrow (Amell), the Flash (Gustin), and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) will be traveling to Gotham City.
Batwoman, Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) will make her debut in the Arrowverse. Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) are along for the ride. And we can expect to meet an Arkham Asylum scientist (Jeremy Davies) and Nora Fries (Cassandra Jean Amell), wife of Dr. Freeze.
The CW Crossover happens over three nights starting with The Flash on Sunday December 9, Arrow on Monday December 10 and concluding with Supergirl on Tuesday December 11.
