Crunchyroll Anime Expo 2022 took the Los Angeles Convention Center by storm recently. This past weekend, fans enjoyed a bounty of offerings, ranging from insightful panels of the hottest new series, interactive activations, world premiere screenings, exclusive merch and more. The event had in-person and streaming select panels on demand from August 5–7, 2022, with an additional digital replay available until August 9, 2022. 

Among this phenomenal programming was the industry panel, which announced old fan favorites being added to the catalog, new series launching on the platform and even special film events debuting on Crunchyroll the following year. So, without further ado, let’s dive into what’s on the Crunchyroll horizon!

Tower of God (Season 2)

The long-awaited second season of the celebrated anime series Tower of God, based on SIU’s WEBTOON webcomic, is headed to Crunchyroll. Season 2 of the dark fantasy series will follow Bam as he continues his journey through the mysterious tower.

My One-Hit Kill Sister

Based on the web novel and manga Isekai One Turn Kill Nee-san: Ane Dо̄han no Isekai Seikatsu Hajimemashita, written by Konoe, the anime adaptation, entitled My One-Hit Kill Sister, is headed to Crunchyroll. There is no trailer or official synopsis for it yet, but we will keep you up to date on the launch in our monthly anime wrap-up articles.
