Update 9/5/2018: This article has been updated to reflect changes in cast appearences.

East coast fans of Critical Role have something to rejoice about this day! If you don’t know, Critical Role is a live-play D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) hosted by Matt Mercer and a group of really nerdy voice actors! After waiting for what seems like years for the cast of Critical Role to return to the eastern side of the United States, they are gracing us with their presence at NYCC 2018. Not only that, but they also announced that they will hosting a live show on Thursday October 4, 2018. It will be canon to the current season and feature all members of the cast, except Ashley Johnson. She took to her twitter today to express her sadness in missing the live show as well as NYCC 2018.
