We’ve known about the Crisis on Infinite Earths since last year. And so far it looks like the Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) is winning. The Multiverse is gone. All Earths are destroyed. All that’s left are the seven Paragons, Destiny – White Canary Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), Hope – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Courage – Batwoman Kate Kane (Ruby Rose), Love – The Flash Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Honor – Martian Manhunter J’onn J’onzz (David Harewood), Humanity – Ryan Choi (Osric Chau), and Truth – Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer).
The Paragons are in the Vanishing Point, where the Anti-Monitor can’t find them. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is dead….everyone is dead. The Pargaons mush find a way to bring back the Multiverse and everyone they love. It’s not going to be easy. Nothing worth fighting for ever is.

Ten thousand years ago, Mar Novu (Garrett) was a man of towering ambition. With help from his wife, Novu built a time machine on the planet Maltus. His destination was the Dawn of Time. When he stepped into the temporal zone, his presence corrupts the zone, releasing antimatter. He breached a wall between his universe and it’s opposite, an anti-universe. Because his suit couldn’t handle the radiation, it created the opposite of Mar Novu…the Anti-Monitor.
VANISHING POINT
Some time has passed and all hope is lost. The paragons are somber, like they’ve lost all hope. Lex and Ryan are working on a way out. And Barry/Flash, but he’s been missing for months. Lex and Ryan used the tech that was left behind in the Vanishing Point to create a teleportation device, but there’s nowhere to go. The only way to find out is to send someone out there. Kara/Supergirl volunteers Lex and no one objects. When Ryan turns on the machine, nothing happens. It might have been too much to hope for. They are interrupted with the return of Flash.
Elsewhere, Oliver Queen is in another realm of existence, far from where he came from. He’s reliving parts of his life, mostly fights. Jim Corrigan (Stephen Lobo) sits with him as Oliver transitions. Corrigan say she had to relive his fights to prepare for the ultimate fight against the Anti-Monitor. He describes the Anti-Monitor as the apocalypse in living form. Oliver can defeat him, but he will need help from his friends.
Back at the Vanishing Point, in Barry’s head, he’s only been gone for a few seconds. He tried running into the speed force, but couldn’t get in. He says there’s no way out, but gets up to try again. Supergirl is concerned about Barry’s well being. He looks exhausted. Sara tries to stop him from running away again and almost starts a fight. Supergirl reminds them that they are on the same side. She says the speed force may be their last best hope. It is. Oliver arrives to let the Paragons know that the speed force is the key to saving everyone.
SPECTRE
Everyone is surprised to see Oliver. He says he is Oliver Queen, but something more. A spectre. He says he’s in tune with the multiverse, but the multiverse is gone. All that’s left is an antimatter universe. The Anti-Monitor is at the Dawn of Time fighting to make his destruction of the worlds permanent. They can stop him, but they need a backup plan.
Oliver tells them how the Novu created the Anti-Monitor. He says someone needs to go back to that moment and stop him from creating the breach to the antimatter universe. Everyone else will be fighting at the Dawn of Time. Supergirl, Ryan and Lex volunteer to stop Novu.
Barry says he can get everyone to Maltus and the Dawn of time through the speed force, but he can’t get in. He asks Oliver if he’s also in tune with the speed force. Oliver knows what Barry wants and he knows it’s possible, but dangerous. Oliver can give Barry the energy boost he needs to get everyone where they need to be. He pleads with Oliver to help him, saying everyone’s lives depend on it.
RUN BARRY RUN
Oliver touches Barry’s head with one finger. He says he unlocked Barry’s potential, but he has to use the power with caution. Barry is confused and Oliver asks if Barry trusts him. Barry asks him if he’s Oliver Queen. Yes, he is, so Barry trusts him with every cell in his body. Oliver tells Barry to run. Barry grabs everyone and runs into the speed force.
Barry lands in Queen Consolidated the day he met Oliver for the first time. Oliver appears and explains that he is using their memories to keep everyone from falling out of the speed force. If they fall, they will be consumed by antimatter. Barry needs to find everyone and get them to the Dawn of Time, including Oliver. Oliver suggests using moments when bonds were formed to find everyone.
Barry runs to STAR Labs and Flash (Ezra Miller) already there. Yes. Another Flash from the DCEU. The two Flashes, Arrowverse and DCEU are confused. Arrowverse gets mistaken for a cosplayer and he explains that he is the Flash too. The DCEU doesn’t know the name Flash, but he likes it. They both admire each other’s supersuits and introduce themselves. They freak out when they realize they are both Barry Allen and they are both speedsters. What does this mean? Arrowverse knows there’s no multiverse, so where did this other Flash come from? DCEU comments that he told Victor it was possible before fading away. Arrowverse just wants to know what this means.
UNIVERSAL DOMINATION
Supergirl, Ryan, and Lex arrive at Maltus, while everyone else is scattered throughout the speed force. They land near a city and Ryan concludes that the city will have a data bank that they can use to find Mar Novu. First they have to find Lex, who has wandered off.
Supergirl finds Lex and knows he’s up to something. He comes clean and says he’s after universal domination…duh! Lex blasts Supergirl with lasers from his hands. He gave himself powers when he changed the Book of Destiny. Ryan sees this and runs towards Supergirl. Lex blasts Ryan too, knocking them both out.
TRUTH
When they wake up, Lex is gone. Ryan starts to question why he was chosen as a Paragon. He doesn’t have any powers. He asks if they have the right guy. Ryan left his family because someone he never met said he was needed. Supergirl says that proves he was the right guy. They need to find Lex. Supergirl knows what Lex is up to. He’s going to mess with Novu’s experiment to change history to his advantage.
Novu is about to engage the quantum portal. Lex stops him and admits that he is a human from the future. He tells him that the time jumping experiment will go wrong. Lex wants to bargain with Novu. He will tell Novu how things go wrong, if Nove gives Lex his abilities.
DESTINY
Barry enters the Elseworlds crossover just as Oliver is about to shoot the Book of Destiny with a special arrow. Barry takes Oliver aside and jogs his memories. Once Oliver remembers what’s going on, Barry asks him about the special arrow. Oliver comes clean about making a deal to save him and Kara from dying. Barry is a little upset that Oliver would sacrifice himself for them, but Oliver is happy with his decision. He’s not afraid of dying…that’s the easy part. The hard part is finding a way to keep going. He tells Barry to get the others.
Sara ended in the morgue, the first time she died as the Black Canary. Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy Rodgers) and John Diggle (David Ramsey) mourn her. This is when John told Laurel to become a Canary. Flash appears and apologizes. He knows they’re not really there. He touches Sara’s head to revive her. Barry keeps apologizing, takes Sara and leaves.
COURAGE
Kate wakes up at Palmer Tech and hears Oliver talking to Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). From what she hears, Ray doesn’t trust Oliver. This was a time when Ray took over Queen Consolidated…and started dating Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). I’m pretty sure Ray knew about the hood and felt he needed to do something about him.
Oliver sees Kate and doesn’t know who she is. Kate realizes that there is a pattern with Oliver. He doesn’t trust people and they don’t trust him. Things change and the bonds that form are stronger than iron. Kate says she can learn from that. Barry speeds in and takes Kate.
HONOR
J’onn ends up in the Invasion crossover and finds Oliver and Supergirl having a heated discussion. Oliver just discovered the multiverse and was kidnapped by aliens. So he has an issue trusting aliens, like Supergirl and he doesn’t know how to handle it yet. Supergirl tries to assure him that he can trust her, but he needs to find the trust in his own way.
J’onn interrupts their conversation, telling them about the Anti-Monitor and that they are in the speed force. He says things are strained between them now, but one day they will come to depend on each other and trust one another. Barry runs in and grabs J’onn.
HUMANITY
Lex told Novu about tearing a hole in the space time continuum and opening a breach to the antimatter universe. Novu knows that matter and antimatter cannot coexist. Lex says they are trying to prevent bad stuff from happening. He says he’s going to make some modifications to the time machine. Supergirl has something to say about that.
Supergirl tells Novu not to trust Lex and tells Ryan to take him out of the room. While Supergirl and Lex shoot lasers at each other, Ryan talks to Novu. He tells him not to go through time. To do so will destroy an infinite number of lives. Novu is impressed with Ryan’s humanity, saying he’s remarkable.
HOPE
Ryan goes back into the lab to stop the fight. He was able to talk Novu out of using the time machine. Flash rushes in and grabs all three of them. He takes everyone to the Dawn of Time in the antimatter universe. Ryan is confused. He says he got through to Novu, so that place shouldn’t exist. The Anti-Monitor shows up saying that Novu was just one man in countless universes. There will always be one Mar Novu who cannot turn from his towering ambition.
Oliver arrives to encourage the Paragons. He says they are powerful enough to hold the line to buy them some time. They are going to rebirth the universe and it can only happen at the Dawn of Time. Oliver will light the spark and the Paragons will fan the flame. How? Well, no one really knows. He asks if they trust him. Barry says with every cell in his body.
THE DAWN OF TIME
It’s the Paragons vs. the shadow army as Oliver and the Anti-Monitor watch from atop a mountain. The Anti-Monitor tries to talk Oliver into surrendering. Oliver prepared his whole life for this fight and he won’t back down. The Anti-Monitor says all life ends; only death is eternal. And he is eternal. Time to fight!
The Anti-Monitor and his shadow army are strong. The Paragons and Oliver are holding their own though. In fact, Oliver allows the Anti-Monitor to get close so he can grab a hold of him. Oliver pulls the Anti-Monitor close and says he has failed the universe. Oliver looks to the sky and a beam of light emerges.
The shadow army disappears. The Paragons look up and see Oliver with the Anti-Monitor. When they see the beam of light, they see the flame that Oliver sparked. Now they must fan the flame by focusing on what they represent as Paragons: humanity, truth, love, destiny, honor, courage, and hope. They look up and focus all of their energy on Oliver.
LOVE
An explosion happens and the Anti-Monitor disappears. Sara and Barry rush to Oliver’s side. He’s badly hurt and asks them to watch over his family. They did it; they birthed a new universe. Sara refuses to believe that this is the end for Oliver and tells him to hang on. Oliver says there was an end and there’s a beginning. He tells them to look at the new universe that is forming above them. Oliver is at peace and they need to keep going and never stop. The new world needs them. Oliver looks at the sky, closes his eyes and dies. A bright light overcomes everyone and they disappear. RIP Oliver Queen.
